October being the month of Halloween, I could not resist this image. My daughter Isabel introduced me to Otafest some years ago. It’s a 3 day festival devoted to the life of manga and anime, featuring the art, music, animation, books, video’s and more of a mostly Japanese creation. It’s an amazing festival attracting thousands of people, mostly in costume, to celebrate this art form. I attended my 4th Otafest in May 2012 and this is one of the costumed attendees displaying their incredible talents at Cosplay.
