13 years ago, this month, our second daughter Samara was born. She will be celebrating her Bat Mitzvah as she demonstrates her readiness to accept responsibilities as an adult by leading our congregation in prayer. Here is a picture of her older sister holding her, only minutes after she was born. We could not be more proud.
