For Spring Break 2012 our eldest daughter Isabel traveled to Cambodia as part of an International Studies program at her school, The Calgary Academy. We decided to take our youngest daughter Samara to the new Disney Aulani resort in Oahu, Hawaii. Needless to say, we were not thrilled with some of our experiences there (I listed our complaints on my practice Facebook page), but one of the positive highlights was the fireside stories told by 'Uncle' each night. The picture in this months Avenue ad is taken from the story that was told one night by the fire. It was a wonderful evening in a beautiful bit of paradise. The photo is wonderfully embellished by our amazing friend, Edwin Herrenschmidt, of Nonfiction.
