In October 2011, I received the Fellowship in the American College of Dentists. The American College of Dentists is the oldest international Fellowship that focusses on Ethics and Morals in dentistry and views themselves as the moral compass of dentistry. Receiving this award required 2 anonymous nominations and a review process that is thorough. In 2011 only 2 dentists in Alberta received this award, and I am thrilled to have been so honoured.
This Fellowship was the third honourary Fellowship I have received in the last 3 years. The other two being Fellowships in the Academy of Dentistry International (2009) and the International College of Dentists (2010).
