After 9 years, and 72 publications, the monthly Dr. Larry images will cease for a time.
My practice has been a real success and has grown over the years. As well, I have started an Independent Consulting business for people with TMJ and Orofacial pain from trauma (car accidents, workplace accidents, assaults and more) working with Insurance companies, the legal community and other members of the medical community. This niche work, that I have been doing for many years and now a level of expertise gained from experience, research, lecturing and more, has garnered demands on my time that approach full time hours as well.
The result is I have been working 70 hour weeks for 3 years now and things must change. In the coming months I will be welcoming a partner into my office. When the 'deal' is complete announcements will be made on my website and our facebook page. Check back frequently, or 'Like' our Page and you will be notified of the latest news in our practice as it happens.
I am not leaving dentistry. I am just trying to reduce my work to a mere 40 hours per week.
Once the dust has settled, it will be the responsibility of the new partner to decide upon how much to devote to marketing and where those marketing dollars are to be spent.
My association with Avenue magazine and Redpoint Media has been fun and definitely worth the investment. Relationships with the wonderful team at Redpoint and Avenue have become well developed and they are now my friends as well.
